Slideways Go Karting World Enduro Series Rules:
All teams must consist of three drivers, with series points allocated to the team of three, not individual members.
All three individual drivers must participate in a 10 minute qualifying session each.
The grid will be determined by the qualifying time of the starting driver, who is nominated after qualifying.
The winner of each race will be the leading driver to cross the finishing line after 65 minutes have elapsed.
There will be two compulsory pit stops for driver changes, with the pit window opening for the first stop from minutes 15-25, then for the second stop between minutes 35-45.
The opening and closing of the pit windows will be communicated to drivers on track.
All driver change pit stops will be timed by Slideways staff with a minimum stopped time of 20 seconds, ensuring seat belt fastening and kart seating adjustments can be made.
All driver change pit stops must take place in the designated pit area, and drivers can only enter the race track if their helmet strap has been checked by Slideways staff.
Drivers must signal to other drivers that they are entering the pit lane for driver change stops.
Slideways staff will be judge of fact with regards to any driving infractions against the published and oral track rules. This includes bumping, speeding under yellow light conditions, any movement on-track under red light conditions, speeding in pit lane, jump starts, not keeping arms and legs inside the kart, and so on.
Slideways reserves the right to nominate an experienced Clerk of Course to officiate on rule matters.
Penalties will be applied in the form of pit lane stop/go penalties, or pit lane stop/hold penalties.
There will be a two minute stop/hold penalty for pitting outside of the designated pit window.
After an initial warning, continued bumping will result in a stop/hold 30 second penalty.
Further bumping may result in exclusion from the race.
There will be no fuel stops or tyre changes.
Kart changes are permissible if there are any technical issues. Karts will be issued on a random basis for qualifying and the race.
Slideways reserves the right to alter the rules of the series. Any changes to the racing regulations will be communicated prior to the commencement of the race.
