Race Events
Slideways Go Karting World runs a Championship Sprints series and while the racing can be serious, they are aimed at promoting fun, social connections, sportsmanship, and good times! See below for further details on how it all works!
Sprints
The Sprints are part of our Championship Series which are raced in 3 categories.
CADETS: 7 – 11 years
OPEN LIGHTS: 12 years and older, and under 80kgs
OPEN HEAVY: 12 years and older, and over 80kgs
Friday Events
- 5.30pm Arrival
- $75 Entry
- 5 lap Qualifying
- 2 x 10 min Races
- 1 grid per category
- 8 Rounds (Split into 2x4 round mini series)
- Rounds alternate between forward and reverse track direction
- Prizes for 4 round series winners and overall winners
- Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd (Series only)
- Double points round for round 4 and round 8
- Pay for 4 rounds in advance and get a 10 minute gift voucher
